How It Works

Language Player streams live broadcasts from free-to-air channels around the world. The video player uses HLS streaming, which works in all modern browsers. Pick a channel from the list on the right and it starts playing immediately.

Channels are tested automatically every few hours. Dead channels or streams that time out are removed from the list, so you only see channels that are actually broadcasting right now.

Browsing Channels

The channel list shows every available channel for your target language, sorted by connection speed. The fastest channels appear at the top.

Use the dropdowns at the top of the list to narrow things down:

• Country — filter by the channel's country of origin
• Category — filter by content type (News, Entertainment, Music, Sports, etc.)

Each channel shows a signal indicator. Green means a fast connection to that channel's server. Yellow and orange mean moderate latency. A grey crossed-out icon means the channel couldn't be reached during the last check and has been removed.

Click any channel to switch to it. The URL updates automatically, so you can bookmark or share a link to a specific channel.

Tips

• News channels tend to have the most reliable, lowest-latency streams
• If a stream stops working, refreshing the page will re-fetch the channel list with fresh health checks
• Live TV is pure immersion — there are no subtitles or translations. Use the Video Player if you want interactive captions
• Try channels from different countries that speak the same language (e.g., France, Belgium, and Switzerland for French) to hear different accents and vocabulary
